Kairos and Eros: Living with an Open Heart in a Time of Radical Change with Michael Meade
We live in a period of worldwide crises that involve all levels of nature and culture. At the same time, we are in what the ancients knew as a “kairos moment” that calls for a transformation of life on earth. Kairos is the opportune moment that allows a return to origins and the potentials of life.
In Greek myths Eros represents the divine energy of creation and innate spirit of connection that must be present for any creative effort or relationship to grow. Eros is part of the calling in each person’s life and the expression of the uniqueness of each soul. In times of radical change, all relationships can be reimagined, and when approached with an open heart, both and healing and renewal can occur.
