Kate Walling is a Silicon Valley marketer and entrepreneur who has spent the last 20 years building high-growth startups and creating brands and experiences people love. Kate works with companies in various industries including e-commerce, SaaS, digital health, adtech, edtech, and professional services at many of Silicon Valley’s top agencies.

While Kate’s primary focus within corporate environments is building meaningful connections within teams and with customers, investors, and supporters, her personal journey focuses on a commitment to understanding who she is and to living a deeply authentic life.

Kate grew up in the South and moved to Seattle in her late 20s before settling in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her journey around gender roles and expectations has been a wild ride. She renounced the gender roles she was born into, only to find that gender has its complications even in the most progressive cultures. She is excited to be part of the Engendering Love team where these issues are being explored more fully.
