Cynthia Brix (she/her), Co-Director, Gender Equity and Reconciliation International
Rev. Cynthia Brix, PhD (hon), is co-founder of Gender Equity and Reconciliation International (GERI), which has organized over 300 trainings in fourteen countries for healing and reconciliation between women and men, and people of all genders. An ordained interfaith minister with a background in women’s issues and racial diversity activism, Cynthia co-leads retreats on interfaith spirituality. She has co-convened seven international conferences on interspirituality, including two on women’s spiritual leadership across diverse religious and indigenous traditions. Cynthia holds an M.Div. from Iliff School of Theology, a double M.A. in wellness management and applied gerontology, and an honorary doctorate from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is co-author of three books with William Keepin, including Women Healing Women: A Model of Hope for Oppressed Women Everywhere. Their latest book was published in 2022 with 18 co-authors from eight countries, entitled: Gender Equity and Reconciliation: Thirty Years of Healing the Most Ancient Wound in the Human Family.
